-Summer Rhapsody..-
"It must be the baking bug that has bitten me", she thought to herself.
That accounted for the numerous occasions she had been baking recently and the baking-related blogs. To her it was simply therapy to see the new recipe she had tried out to succeed and the encouragement friends gave her was uplifting. Words of affirmation-her first love language.
"Rhapsody of tea and cake. What a divine combination", she reminscienced, thinking of the by-gone days that harked back to her days as a NIE trainee where time was not such a precious commodity and she had the leisure time to go for high tea.

Honestly I was very encouraged when I brought my carrot cake to the 4pm meeting. Thanks to Kwang and Kristl for their encouragement. My dear friends, you are really very kind to grade me 9 and 9.5 out of 10 respectively for the cake. I always wonder why words of affirmation mean so much to me. Perhaps I just want people to let me know that what I've done is not in vain and that they appreciate it.
I must have bored ming with my constant chatter on baking last night. That is why I really enjoy talking to someone who understands all the baking terms I talk about. Ah..another of my friend mentioned that she was going to Sentosa with our mutual friend and he was making lunch for her! Wow!
To me that is the ultimate expression of your love. I was telling her I'll be so touched if ever a guy cooks for me. So my dear friends, stop saying I'm high maintaineance. A simple homecooked meal speaks volumes to me and your sincerity will really touch me. Haha, shall I set the challenging task of a homecooked meal as my present next month? Just remembered ming asking me what I want for my upcoming birthday. LOL..
